I've recently had to reinstall my DSL pendrive installation (long story) after over a year, and soon wished I didn't have to...
I managed to get the drive (Sandisk Mini Cruzer 256Mb) booting DSL v1.5, thanks to the "install to pendrive - USB-HDD" option. However, I wanted to install the 5-way boot option, to have the Embedded option (QEMU) in Windows, so I downloaded the package, unpacked it and ran the script.
Basically, the script fails when I have to specify the device name of the pendrive, which on this PC is /dev/sdc. I try specifying "sdc" and "sdc1", as normal user and root, and in all cases it tells me "Permission denied" (note: the drive is not mounted at this point).
Could the problem be that I have actually booted DSL from the pendrive itself? Any suggestions welcome
Thanks, Tim.
P.S. Love the new default wallpaper in 1.5!
