fdd  hdd  cd-rom and lan     I take it  im not able to boot from usb am I?

Probably not.  There may be another section for what type of hdd you want to boot from, but on a proprietary laptop it is unlikely.  Looks like you'll have to round up a floppy:(

haha floppy? Whats that, not used floppys in ages and this laptop didnt come with floppy,  dvd+-R and HDD with wireless built in  thats it,    its less then a year new and no usb boot up option that sucks.  I even upgraded the bio's last night nothen.  *SIGH*
