Find out what directory your extensions are saved in, then add that directory (or, alternatively, those files) to your ~/.filetool.lst
To get your old bookmarks, export them as a file. The easiest thing to do, regardless if you're running DSL embedded or from a LiveCD, would be to email that file to yourself, and then open up a browswer from within DSL, access your email, download it, and load it up.
I'm pretty sure firefox already saves your bookmarks. If not, just include the path to that file in your ~/.filetool.lst
