when i double click dsl-windows.bat, qemu crashes.

most times it stops on "uncompressing linux"

sometimes it gets to "uncompressing linux..ok"

and one time it even got all the way to loading fluxbox before it crashed and the "not responding", please send error report error.

is there anything i should try??

Two things that I have heard of:

1. In Windows control panel, try reducing the color resolution to a lower value.

or

2. Using Windows, navigate to the qemu.exe and right click to get to properties, click on Compatibiity and select an alternate version of Windows

The thing is, for XP users, there's no option to select XP. I tried all of them though, and everything works fine when you select

'Windows 98 / Windows Me'
