How would i boot DSL with QEMU if;

HDA1 = WIN
HDA2 = DSL
QEMU = HDA1/QEMU/QEMU.EXE

Would i need a certain DSL?

Syslinux - 'need to know what-is for'
Embedded - 'need to know what-is for'
Other?

I am new to linux, but my goal is to Be able to boot DSL(harddrive-install) with Qemu(for win) and allow them both to share a dialup access.

If your sole aim is for dsl-embedded to be able to use the internet -- then the default works -- dsl-embedded works through the internet connection of windows --firefox is on there already.

However the decription you have above sounds more like installing dsl to your hard drive in which case you don't start with dsl-embedded atall but rather "burn" the dsl~.iso onto a cdrom and boot up from the cd. After this you simply follow the install to hard drive instructions remembering to create a new partition for dsl togo on. After this each time you boot you have to decide if you want to use dsl or windows.

There are other options as well such as booting dsl from a keyring, the smallness of dsl is what makes it so flexible, and pratical. The more I use dsl the more options and uses I discover for it.
