You need to exit QEMU properly.

The correct way to exit out of a QEMU window is to press the

CTRL-ALT keys at the same time.

If you press ALT-TAB, QEMU will get confused because it can't see when you let go of the ALT and TAB keys.

If you get stuck, try re-entering QEMU and press/release the ALT and TAB keys (but not at the same time).

My keyboard doesn't work in QEMU either. Also seems like the mouse doesn't want to work :( . I can right-click and get stuff to open, but enter and left-click don't seem to work.
