Folders:
It would be nice to have a better or at least cleaner folder system emelfm isn't that great

Trash:
Icon on desktop so folders and apps can be deleted quickly and easily

Saving:
I know people have written tons of topics on this, so why not make it easier, perhaps:

user can just enter

save config

in the terminal

or something like that to save their current configuration and when booted it will automaticly go back to the last saved configuration

Copy/Paste:
Plain and simple; just make it easier

These are my ideas

I just started using DSL a few days ago and I love it, I just think these areas could be fixed to make my experience much more enjoyable.

Thank You

Folders: I agree, ElemFM is ugly and almost scared me away from DSL
Trash: ... you mean like a windows Recycle bin? When you ask linux to delete it deletes...
Saving: The configuration tools are already that easy.
Copy/Paste: Ain't easy, this is a problem with linux apps. try Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert instead of Ctrl+c Ctrl+v

how do you delete from linux in an easy way
(knoppix has a trash)

how do you save (ex.firefox bookmarks)
(knoppix has a button that says save config, I think it should be more like that)

didn't he say something about both mouse buttons or something like that

This stuff is easy in DSL actually. It is DIFFERENT from Windows, but you had to learn Windows too. Now you have to learn a new way. EmelFM is actually a very powerful file manager in a small space, and small is the key to DSL. If you want to delete a file you select it in EmelFM and hit the delete button. If you have backup and restore setup somewhere using the DSL control panel, then that single file backs up all of your settings including the stuff from Firefox. You should set up some boot options according to the instructions to make them persistant. Linux makes heavy use of the right and middle buttons on a three button mouse try them in EmelFM and you will start to see the power of that program. You can also modify it to have the function buttons you need if want more than the default offering.

If you want a nice looking graphical file manager, install the rox.dsl extension from the myDSL repository.

Believe it or not, there is no such thing as a "Trash bin" in Linux or even in knoppix.  If you delete a file from the command line, it will disappear.  However, the knoppix file manager graphical program, called konqueror does support it's own trash-bin like process.
