Trying to pronaunce DSL I get "Diesel"

Why not use the name Diesel (Linux) for it?

it's a nice idea! we can keep the acronym DSL, thus saving history, original name, google cache and so on...and start talking about diesel, which is an easy-to-remember name.

I have to stress, though,that dsl became famous even with a not-easy-to-remember acronym, and despite crictics about the "damn" word in it.

I like the idea, anyway.

I like your signiture newby, did you make it yourselve or get it somewhere?

As for the Name Disiel I like it, Of course I'm a truck driver so that makes me bios.

I borrowed the fish elements from daveed to convey the notion of clustering.

I could get behind "Diesel" also. The post sent me searching the web for free images. You could have the rear view of a tanker with a hazmat label with Tux over the letters "DSL" and the version number. <grin>
