DSL developers are maintaining the size 50 Mb as a reference. That is good. If I wanted more soft I had choosen Knoppix.
But there is a new DSL a little bigger and there is a thread in the forum on getting a DSL just barebones.
An idea borrowed of the textiles could be:
DSL-S = DSL small = DSL barebones DSL-R = DSL regular = present size of DSL DSL-L = DSL large = present DSL-NOT project DSL-XL = DSL extra large = iso of DSL preconfigured with 'best' optional extensions already in its folder stile 'Run & Play' DSL-XXL = DSL extra-extra large = iso of DSL with '(almost) all the preconfigured extensions already in its folder stile 'Run & Play' plus some more system utilities to run at boot time, etc...
Regards.
