It would be really better if we can form DSL_HOWTO.pdf and place it in DSL download section.

It needs assistance from the experts. This would form a good basic document for a newbie in DSL.

While I think we all agree that documentation is lacking, I don't believe pdf is "really better". No offense to CLivesay :laugh:

, but the pdf format is bloated, ugly (in xpdf anyway) and not easily editable. The HOWTO format is trditionally plain text, and there is already html documentation in progress in the wiki. No point in making it even more of a hassle by introducing another format into an already larger-than-anyone-wants-to-deal-with project.

Just my opine.

I agree - pdf's takes up wayyy too many resources to my liking.

HTML and plain text are the way to go!
