Quote | I find when I open MyDSL and install programs I find I get the info window opening of the software, the 'download to' window window and the actual download manager window all 3 of them. Then if I am installing a big program and I want to install something else I get another 3 windows again (am I making it clear? lol) and I end up having to close down an awful lot of windows after installing 2 or 3 programs. I do find that the MyDSL window sometimes 'blanks' or 'corrupts'...perhaps that's down to my PC /graphics card | While I could see having a single application for installing multiple packages would probably be a more pleasing user experience, I assume the mydsl system was written with small size and simplicity of code as high priorities. It's a very linear result...one application connects to a mydsl server, one application displays a mydsl file's info, one application downloads and installs a mydsl file. Each application can be used independently for its designed task.
The blanking of the mydsl app could happen when there is a problem connecting to the server, but i couldn't say if that is the case with you.
