I'm the guy that MADE the rox filer extension and now I don't use it because I find that emelfm is more efficient than rox for most operations.

However, I still use Rox Filer on rare occasions when I need to do a complex file search operation.

Rox Filer has the best file search functionality that I am aware of.  You can do really complex file searches with Rox Filer, almost like a simple SQL database query.
