where themename is the name of your new theme.

You may need to strip out any directory names that are listed inside your tarball before publishing the file, but this should give you a good start.

Nope

The $HOME environment variable should contain something like this:

echo $HOME  (to display the contents)

And you should see:

/home/dsl

or

/home/damnsmall   (if the person is using an older version of DSL)
