I would like to see support for automatic mounting of NTFS partitions on the hard drive.

Why...there is mount.app and you can do that by "sudo /dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 -t ntfs"

Maybe cos automation by default is better.  I wouldn't mind DSL going through all my partitions & mounting them by itself with the option to disable it.

If you want automatic mounting, you can add it yourself.

You can use the bootlocal.sh script to mount your NTFS partition when you start up DSL.  Just make sure that you use the filetool backup function and you boot up DSL using a 'knoppix restore' function.
