xfce is a lightweight DE with high performances !
Design is cool and it is 10*better than XWM

1) DSL doesn't have XWM(does any distro still have it?) -- it's Fluxbox
2) Fluxbox isn't a DE -- it's an excellent 1mb window manager
3) Xfce is too big for DSL (50mb limit)
4) There's already a DSL remaster with Xfce: http://luitlinux.sarovar.org/

Did Fluxbox grow since the last time I looked?

I could have sworn it's under 600k.

But it would be cool if we had a way to have xwm/twm as an alternate WM on low-power systems, but that ain't gonna happen.

And flux /is/ tiny.
