Has anyone had a serious look at the Monkey webserver?

If yes, what interesting uses did you find for it?

I've had a quick look into finding a "non-php/mysql" Pim-calendar and came across this site :-
http://www.fuzzymonkey.org/cgi-bin/newfuzzy/software.cgi

My Calendar - v2.6 looks fairly small and promising although it requires cal to run.
My Address Book - v1.11 looks good too!

Will post additional info when I get time to tinker with it .......

Cheers
rob

There's a site that will help you out here, but you'd better hurry up and check it out.  It's parent company has slated it for destruction in the near future.

I am a university instructor. I have not tried this yet, but...

Teaching an HTML class in a Windows computer lab, pull the uplink cable to isolate the lab, everyone boots into DSL, assigns static IPs, runs monkey, puts up pages. End of class, save everything to floppy or USB, plug in the uplink, reboot into Windows.

Keep it simple.
