When compiling Links 2 a few days ago, I discovered that the executable size is several hundred Kb smaller than the links-hacked executable, even when links-hacked was compressed with UPX.
Links 2 seems to offer the same features - SSL, Javascript, frames and so on, and the rendering engine seems at least on a par with that of links-hacked.
Out of interest, is there a reason why links-hacked was chosen over Links 2?
