I've been playing around with refreshing times and came to the conclusion that if Xvesa is doing anything with refresh times at all, it's not in a documented manner. Supposively you should be able to specify a resolution like 1024x768x16x85 which would set a refresh time of 85 hz. I've started Vesa using that and still got 60 hz. After trying a few other things I saw laying around on the web, I gave up. I agree, however, that it badly needs it, the 60 hz is the ONLY drawback to DSL, in my opinion.
