This has probably been answered before, but:

How do I log in (hd not cdrom version) as user=$my_user_name, not damnsmall?

to add users to your HD installed DSL type:

login as root and type

useradd at the prompt.

This will prompt your for additional users, create user directories under /home, etc.

then exit from the root account

exit

then login to your newly created user account
