I'm no networking wiz, but I know it can be done on a live CD because Puppy has it.
It seems to me that it would make a much better myDSL extension since even those of us with a shared dial-up connection don't need to share all the time. It sure would cut back on security expenses if I didn't have to connect multiple PCs through a machine running an inferior operating system, though.
Just a suggestion, definitely not a complaint.
