As far as i can tell, ACPI is not enabled in the dsl kernel. I was wondering if it could be included in dsl? The space im guessing would be negligable, and the  kernel sources should be available still from the knoppix guys right?

This is a real killer for battery laptop users, unless there is another way to monitor batterys?  I can understand this could mean a lot of work, so let me know what you think.
