He's the goal.
A Live CD with Q3:Arena or Emery Territory etc
The demo UT2003 was available as a live CD iso image using Linux and it was cool.

So how to do it and make it flexible?
My Idea:
Make DSL version with the following changes/additions
Nvidia or ATI X driver ( one for each )
mounttab entry for game filesystem.
desktop symbolic link to lnk and icon to file on game filesystem. ( say mygame.lnk mygame.png )

Burn this new DSL to CD.

Then add a new partition/fs to the CD image with all the files for your chosen game & the mygame.lnk and mygame.png files.

Is this possible?

No.

Try remastering some other LiveCD like knoppix or better yet Morphix.

The DSL XWindows drivers are special and do not support Nvidia and ATI x drivers.

Fair enough, it looks like Morphix is the way to go.
