I know I'm not the only one here who reads Slashdot, but I thought everyone should know. The posted something here and about a security flaw in firefox that has an easy fix.
Type:
about:config
into the address bar and hit return. That brings up a configuration page. Then change the item
network.enableIDN
to false by double clicking on it and changing the true to false.
Sorry if this is old news to people, but I though you'd want to know.
