Thanks in advance for commentary!

Will the 12vdc power supplies I see listed in the store, particularly the PW 60A or similar unit, be enough to power a mATX mobo and some peripherals.

the motherboard has integrated sound, eth & nvidia video

Peripherals:
1 3.5 hd
1 dvd burner
1 firewire card

The motherboard I'm interested in, BIOSTAR GEFORCE 6100-M9 Socket 939, has an additional 4pin power connector.  I'm sure that can be adapted readily.  In your opinion, will the power supply have enough muscle to run that board or that type of board?  Based on my calculations, it appears that it should be able to support the load unless I have missed something.

I am migrating to an all renewable engergy.  Running computers with a DC power supply would achieve greater efficiencies. Efficiency makes or breaks renewable systems.
