Quote | What do you like about dwm that you use it over wmii? | I like wmii, but i think for a minimalist wm it has two flaws: 1) It requires uncommon libraries 2) Too much work to configure it. To expand on the second "flaw", it allows for greater flexibility, but it's flexibility that I don't need. It ended up being more of a distraction when all I really want is a window manager that gives me access to applications and stays out of the way. dwm is very limited in comparison, but it's simple. I did download the most recent stable release of wmii a couple weeks ago, but I haven't tried it yet.
Quote | What does "log crap" mean in the top left hand corner? | Those are 2 of my 7 tags -- similar to what most WMs would call workspaces or desktops. The numbered tags are for generic uses, but the other two are for special purposes. I chose "crap" temporarily because I couldn't think of a clever name at the time, and still haven't thought of one.
