If you use a normal livecd in the right down corner of the screen you see a litte ''thing'' with unmounted press on the buttun above it till you see hda<number> and then press unmounted so it says ''mounted'' (and it should turn green) Now take a file explorer of your choise (or firefox...) and go to /mnt/ there you should see a directory called hda1 or hda2 or hda3 >> that are your harddisks.
I guess you meant that?
-------------- I am using a LiveCD to boot DSL, but i used/use Qemu too... I havent got much experience with Linux: only with iPodLinux:Linux for your iPod (http://www.ipodlinux.org/)
