Two things that made updating Robert's fantastic upgrade a breeze:
1. Used the webbackup to save and restore all my Firefox, sylpheed, etc., setups instantly. (I just discovered this terrific feature recently...can you do this in Vista???)
2. Changed the name of my backup.tar.gz file to oldbackup.tar.gz so I didn't accidentally rewrite it. Now I can pick and choose whatever I want from the old files to copy into the update as needed. (note: boot the update intially with 'dsl norestore')
