Heres the situation... I want to serve (using fserve) on an IRC chan.  Im a little nervous leaving my main computer on for extended periods of time.  I have an old laptop that is running windows but dosen't have NIC drivers (but has a NIC).  Ive looked for the windows drivers for the NIC but couldent find them.  DSL runs fine on the laptop (gets to the internet and everything).  I looked for the program I played with to get it to work on windows (called UPP) but didn't find one.

I also would like to be able to remote into the laptop via a windows  box, what program could i use to do this?

Many thanks for the help.

OK, you've now crossed over into the realm of super nerds, whereby even regular nerds steal your lunch money and throw rocks at you.
