Thanks...log say's socket error(34)..wonder why my buttons do not show text?..I am running on a p166..I noticed that eboard installed with no issue..on the dx2 I had install issues with eboard and xsaver..maby iscribe is similar on a p166 and requires a 233 for clean install.

The socket error is a network problem. Is your windoze's scribe version the same (1.87) ? maybe try 1.87 on windoze and see what happens.

The fonts problem is unrelated to the network or how fast your pc goes. What version DSL are you using? have you tried an older DSL? I'm using 2.1.
