I have install edna on my system and it works fine when I start it from the mydsl menu.  I would like to have it start when the computer boots/reboots so if I install it on a small home server running 24-7 it would not require manual intervention if the server reboots.  I have tried the obvious, putting the /user/bin/ednastart command in /opt/bootlocal.sh but this not seem to work.  Not sure why.  Any ideas?

If it requires X it will not work from bootlocal.sh or any other boot script.  You'd need to put the command in /home/dsl/.xinitrc.  I don't know anything about edna, so this is only guessing.
