Aveline, I presume you want to run DSL as an SSH server.
I'd not do that. I'd go with a standard Debian minimal install with full iptables and automated updates (on HD drive).
On a standard Debian install 'man sshd' would give you a clue on how to run a ssh server. However, if you are not very experienced I'd not go and run a ssh server like that, I'd try and test it locally, do some tests with intrusion detection tools, etc.
I speak out of my own experience, maybe I'm too paranoid
