Hi,
i installed dsl on a old sony pcg-505g and nearly everything is working great.
i downloaded the rox file manager and installed it with mydsl!
then i also downloaded and installed abiword!
Both programms work, but if i click on an abiword file in a rox window abiword starts, but with a blank window.

i also tried
Code Sample
abiword name.abw

in a shell.
Abiword starts but doesn't open the file.

I also found out, that i'm not able to run that Abiword-2.0 binary. But if i start the abiword binary, it works.

Any idea?

Regards
Marko

Right click on the file you want to open and set a run action for it You can drag and drop the binary for that. You also should be able to drag the file you want over the binary's icon to open it.

How did you set the run action? Let me see what you entered if you entered a text command. Have you manually edited MIME-types?

I know abiword works in rox and you shouldn't have to use open office.

Abiword & Rox are both extensions. Topic moved to extension area.
