Ok, here's what I did to reproduce the errors in a plain vanilla frugal DSL2.1RC2...

Opened a terminal, and alternately ran the commands "pidof xtdesk" and "icontool.lua". The first time i ran icontool, xtdesk restarted as expected, but each time afterward i received an error from xtdeskRestart.sh. Also, each time there was an additional xtdesk PID. With icontool, I just started the script and then pressed "OK".

* bg color gets stuck after playing around with the different styles.
(keep having to use xsri to change back)

* startup still has an empty right-click menu appearing by itself.

* about the links/mc debate, whatever is decided i think the 'man'
cmd should be repaired to whatever is to render the page or else
just say not-available. A lot of newbies (and me) like using man
pages in times of 'urgency', and it's a bit frustrating to see
"sh: line 1: links: command not found." each time.
