at the moment i can't download the image - is there a changelog for 2.0RC1 ? especially the firefox version and so on

Will there be a release between 1.5 and 2.0 with minor changes from 1.5?

I had thought I was seeing a pattern of monthly releases.
I use DSL in my toolbag as one of many rescue utilities. I have installed it on a laptop for full-time use in the past, but switched to Knoppix and then Mepis. I now keep DSL on a thumbdrive and recommend it to users with low-power systems. I like how well DSL works on such a broad range of systems.

No. Our next stable release will be 2.0.

Our average time between releases is 6-8 weeks, but for 2.0, we are taking more time for public beta testing, and to make sure that 2.0 is as rock-solid as our community expects it to be.
