Quote (lucky13 @ July 08 2008,09:09) | Suggestion: edit out extraneous entries for hfs, minix, and xfs in /etc/filesystems since the modules for them have been removed from the base. No need to check for them. And how about removing reiserfs and ntfs from it as well and adding reiserfs and ntfs bootcodes instead of leaving them in as defaults so that they load regardless of what users want? I don't have a either a reiserfs or ntfs partition but both modules loaded at boot before I put an end to it.

Good idea. Always disliked having errors in the boot. Removing three would be great.
(But, has the hfs module been compiled somewhere? It would be useful to me :P)
