In order to boot from the cd normally on my laptop, I need to use "dsl noagp", otherwise it hangs on booting and doesn't get farther than detecting the sound card. How can I make it so an HD install does the same? I know that it prompts for stuff like the keyset, but is it possible to have it put that "noagp" in somehow so my laptop can boot from the HD?

I think I figured out where to put it, however, I tried editing /etc/lilo.conf, nano gives the error message "Could not open file for writing: Read-only file system". I saved it as /lilo.conf and just used "mv /lilo.conf /etc/lilo.conf", which works. Running lilo, however, gives me the error message "Fatal: creat /bootmap~: Read-only file system".

I haven't a clue of how I can get it to work.
