Does the CD work on other computers besides te one you burned it with?

Yeah, it works on two computers. But the computer it won't work on won't boot straight from a CD... so I tried to make a CD-booting floppy, which doesn't work.

i had this on a compaq d300 with hd as hda and cd as hdc, i got around it by using a usb drive with the poor mans on it.  it couldnt find the image on the cd but eventually found it on sda1!
