Re the HDD install: I would like to install Grub to the Root partition of DSL. Is this possible? I could not find any data or instructions on how to do it. It seems the DSL HDD install will default to placing either Lilo or Grub to the MBR of HDA.
The reason I would like to install Grub to the Root partition of DSL is I'm using a third party boot loader (Bootit Next Generation) to boot both XP Pro and Mepis. XP resides on HDB and Mepis on HDA. The boot loader makes the selection active and boots the OS.
I'd like to install DSL to the Root without overwriting the MBR of HDA where my boot loader resides. Thanks.
