I get the message "findkeymap: No such file or directory" when enter  the string in a shell, and nothing changes.

But now I put it in the bootlocal.sh, and even though the same message appears on startup, the umlauts are here at last: öäüß

Well, thats all I wanted, even if I dont understand, why it works.
