Hi,
I'm a complete DSL n00b, and want to install (latest) DSL on a laptop without a cdrom.
What I have done so far : - tested the Zip-drive with a Dos-boot diskette, working fine - copied the content of the DSL-iso onto the zipdrive - created the DSL-boot diskette
I did some mount-experiments based upon other topics in this forum, without luck. In those topics some talk about mount zip, others zippy, zipdrive, a.s.o.
Could someone please give an exact sequence of statements to - connect to the zipdrive - start the installation of DSL
As I'm not using a Qwerty-keyboard, it would also be great if I could include these statements in Autoexec.bat equivalent on the DSL-boot diskette. Having to type commands on a non-Qwerty while still in Qwerty-mode is a pain.
Thanks for helping
