everything went smooth but when i boot up my laptop and choose boot from external device which will use my USB laptop HDD
then it said:

"Operating System not found"

how to fix this problem please?
this hdd original was for storage data 100% no prior OS was installed.

i remmber read somewhere about del 1st 512 blocks to make sure MBR is deleted but cant find where again.

If you know of a desktop you can use you could try taking the HDD out of the case, input it as the desktop's only HDD( remove any others), Boot with Live Disc and do a HDD install. Then put it back in the case (and you can put back any HHD(s) in the desktop) and try to boot it. It may work since it seems to me that it does the real setup after boot on HDD installs. (But never even heard of that being tried!!)

Then you will need an adapter IDE to 2.5 about  $5.00 at FRY's or Tiger Direct
