Hello everybody,
i did as much search on this topic as i could, i did actions as advised but still in trouble, so, pls, listen to me!
I'm speaking about DSL2.3 HDInstall.

in order to change timezone i issued (sudo)
zic -l  Europe/Istanbul
hwclock -s

date changed succesfully to EEST

when i did a shutdown i received the message
could not umount / -trying /dev/hda1 instead

Then during next startup
/dev/hda1 not cleanly umounted, check forced
and later during check
deleted inode 319402 has zero dtime. FIXED

Then, timezone is back to EDT

the "dirty" way was to put
zic -l  Europe/Istanbul
hwclock -s
on /opt/bootlocal.sh

but the file system looks corrupted and repaired every time i start DSL

Any idea???

Best Regards
Kostas

If you set your country/keyboard to "tr" then your timezone is automatically set to Europe/Istanbul.
