Hi Jerylin, Excuse me for bothering you. I am new in linux. I met the same problems as you. I use VMWARE with DSL 2.4.ISO to try to install it on Hard Disk. I did have done by following document, but after booting I can't see any thing, only black screen. cfdisk /dev/hda ( I cfdisk four partitions, one is /dev/sda1 (boot), another is /dev/sda2 (/), /dev/sda3 , other is /dev/sda5 (swap) mkswap /dev/sda5 swapon /dev/sda5 dsl-hdinstall ===> choose to put data into /dev/sda3 then rebooting
I search on google, but still can't figure out why it can't boot.
I tried to do the sam as you, tried to execute mkliloboot, but I can't find mkliloboot.
would you please tail me to fix it ?
thank you very much.
