I have frugal install and want to dump it for a hd install. I try booting from cd to avoid mounting any hd partitions (so I can re-partition them) but dsl still picks up the frugal from hda2. What boot options do I need to prevent this?

PS: Why am I doing this? Simply because *smp* kernel prevents me using my wireless with WPA. So I am going to compile a non-smp kernel having installed the various bits and configuring to free up as much as my 64M ram as poss for the compilation. If anyone has any other suggestions (apart from buy a different wireless card) I'd appreciate them  :p

Thanks for the suggestion but I already tried that and it still picked up frugal on hda2.
