Thanks JBHoren for an excellent writeup.

I'm doing the HD install witout CD, and started out following this writeup from the DSL wiki:  HD writeup.  I'm using FGRescue linux, but the procedure is the same i believe.  The script referenced in the above link failed, so I'm doing it manually, but have problems with what corresponds to this line in JBHorens writeup:
11.  Mount the DSL iso image.  At the prompt, run "mount /dev/hda2/current.iso /mnt/iso -t iso9660 -o loop=/dev/loop0"

I'm doing mount /mnt/hdax/current.iso...... but get the error message "mount:..... failed:Block device required"

If I do as described in action 11 above:  mount /dev/hdax....  i get "failed: Not a directory"  I assume the error message is referencing current.iso not being a directory.

I'm a linux nOOb, but willing to learn.  Any help will be appreciated, and I have this cute little Fujitsu Biblio notebook begging for a smal linux install.

"mount /mnt/hda2/current.iso /mnt/iso -t iso9660 -o loop" did the trick.  Don't ask me why, but I was just rying stuff.

Sorry for the amature ranblings ;-)
