Hi there

on my single board pcs I managed to get DSL on the hd. Now every time I boot the system, I get this

Quote
Running from HD, regenerate cache.ld.so and modules.dep

Since that takes quite some time, I am looking for a way to get rid of this. I do not see a reason why it should regenerate cache.ld.so and especially modules.dep every time. When done, the systems will not be touched any more.

Any Ideas?

Chris

I have automated this for faster booting. It only happens once. It will be in v3.2.

For your exisiting hard drive install you can just comment out the lines 379-383 in /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig
