Hello and Happy New Year everyone!

My Problem:
Im trying to do a Frugal Install on a CF Card that is situated as hdc in my computer.
Im booting up this Computer using the current DSL on USB Stick and install using the option in Apps Menu.
First I tried GRUB Install and did not get any errors. But when trying to boot from the CF card it hangs up immidiatly with message: GRUB (+blinking cursor).
So i tried again using Lilo. Same, no errors and when I try to boot there comes the message: GRUB (+blinking cursor).

I experienced the same with my USB Pendrive Installation when I chose "USB Zip Install" instead of "USB HDD Install".

Any Ideas how to solve this with my frugal installation?

Thanks in advance!

I hope my question is not just too fundamental for you to answer as I am really a beginner to DSL...

It seemes that the same question was asked and solved before here but this thread really doesnt help

Id appreciate any advice on this problem!

I imagine not many people have such a setup to share their experiences with you. Your question is a grub boot loader setup question. Personally, I prefer the gag bootloader for my test system, which has hda1 Win98, hda6 Frugal DSL, hda12 Traditional DSL, hdb1 WinXP, and hdc1, a CF with IDE adapter is another Frugal DSL. All DSL installations use lilo, which works well gag.
