Hey! Ive been using dsl for quite some time now and i lately decided to change to a newer version. So i downloaded it and burned it on cd,i deleted my old partition and made a new with 51mb, made a boot flag on and started frugal install. hda1, no special boot options, german, no restore partition, old xvesa settings, no different partition for mydsl. As i had deleted the old partition i said install and not upgrade. Nothing really worth mentioning so far, but as my comp starts lilo then, he stops with the last line> kernel panic try passing init to init= kernel >. I can see he cant find the kernel now, but why? I havent done anything really, but installing frugal. I tried to do what the line said and opened root and wrote the line init=kernel. Kind of a desperate try and i didnt expect sth to happen and it actually didnt. Now i havent got the slightest trace of an idea. So please> Help!
