Could you give me a clue to start a hard disk install ?

I have the install CD for the 3.1 and I already prepared some partition to receive it
My computer is a toshiba satelitte ram 256 HD 37GB running windows xp dans Linux ubuntu 6.06 Dapper on the same hard disk

Where can I get the detailed & updated install details ?

There's a doc here called FrugalHowto.pdf that is pretty good. Otherwise the HD install is in the wiki here
