I´m pretty new to this Linux-thing, though VERY tired of slow microsoft products and looking for a fast, small and easy operating system for my old laptop.
My problem is simply that I can only start dsl from live-cd every third time or so, two-out-of-three times it seizes during boot. And when I make a hdd-install it seizes during boot every time.
Is this a compatibility issue? or could I be missing something important.
My system is a compaq armada 110, 700MHz or so with 96MB ram. Thanks for everey little help I can get! Maybe someone knows about another distro thats more suitable for me?
